Biography

Travel Joan (Juan Carlos Ruiz Sanchez) was born on October 22, 1960. At the height of his artistic and personal life, leave this world on March 1, 2006.

In 1979 he began to study printmaking and painting, the National Institute of Fine Arts. For the following year he began his career in Psychology at the ENEP Iztacala belonging to the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.

In 1979 he began to study printmaking and painting, the National Institute of Fine Arts. For the following year he began his career in Psychology at the ENEP Iztacala belonging to the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.

It is during the years 1986-1990 that presents a BA in Visual Arts at the National Arts School, also belonging to the UNAM, which took several courses with masters such as Rene Alva Luis Rosas, Gilberto Navarro Acevs, Ingrid Fugellie Gesan, Melquiades Herrera, Jorge Chuey, Francisco Castro Lenero, Patricia Troncoso Soriano and Ramiro Souza, among others.

In the Lake 26-year career, he had the opportunity to participate in more group exhibitions and 8 singles, the last posthumously in the premises of Radio Education in years 2007.
